![]() On Europe I'm playing a weapon maker for my faction. Place your granary and food buildings as far away from the town hall as you can so you leave a lot of space for your popular buildings and decoration. About 8 per village is a good number and will allow you to keep max ale rations all day and sell the excess. Until Europe, I had a very good build worked out where I had plenty of gold to bribe my guys and still have plenty of gold left over for making troops or anything else I needed. Try to get hops tending as high as possible and start building brewery’s also. Personally I've always gone passive honor, but that's due to the less micromanaging nature of it. Now then, passive honor is never a bad thing, and if you're working with others to form the complete banquets, you won't need nearly the gold / research commitment so you'll be able to bribe your peasants much more, thus making passive honor useful as well. That way you're only investing 20 points total into banqueting and can move into other trees more quickly. As in everyone puts 1 point into the first 4 and produces their own of that, then one guy maxes out his wine production, puts down his wine guild, then cards it, the next guy does it with salt, etc. This topic is a bit old but it's still relevant, the village design I used was pioneered by a player named Halle and I've yet to see the Decorative buildings placed. Lastly, to really optimize production you need to put the guilds down in your parish, which means you won't get the food or weapon making guilds, or the military side of your parish nearly as quickly.Īt the end of the day, unless you're a HUGE carder (the kind of carder who's able to play 15+ Eureka cards on a world) you're better of coordinating with a few people to make a complete banquet. In this guide I'll show you how to set up your village to benefit the most from Decorative buildings while keeping all your Entertainment buildings at +6 popularity. Adding to that, until the rank of Viscount you don't even have enough village slots to make each type of banquet. In order to optimize honor production you have to dedicate a LOT of research into it (mainly the last 4 + metalwares since you can get venison, chairs, and clothes in any village,) plus you have to have special villages for that banquet type. It's certainly not without it's drawbacks though. Later on, someone who is willing to spend the cards / money can still keep everything at least 3x carded, so it still ends up being vastly superior to passive. The castle is protected on one side by impassable forest.Banqueting wins for someone who spends some money on the game, especially in the early game where you can 5x or even 10x card some of the productions. Wood is everywhere here and grows strongly but other resources are limited. Wheat grows very well on the plains, but the vast space comes at the cost of reduced resources.Ī perfect site for growing vines, slightly limited resources but plenty of usable space. Moats are 25% stronger in this village type. ![]() Players with parish (s) are more likely to be accepted into a house in the glory race than players without parishes. A parish is a great way to get your presence on the map recognized. If you are the steward of a parish you get to vote in sheriff elections. Pitch is abundant here, although wood and stone are scarce. If you are in house your parish will generate honor for that house every day. Limited resources and some usable space limitations. Limited resources here are made up for by the benefits the river brings. Iron is plentiful in a this mountain-top stronghold, and the terrain offers better castle defence, but it comes at the expense of usable space. 1 Description 2 Stone Quarrying 3 Forestry 4 Tools 4.1 Iron Mining 4.2 Pitch Extraction 5 Banqueting 5.1 Hunting 5.2 Carpentry 5.3 Metal Bashing 5.4 Tailoring 5.5 Wine Production 5.6 Salt Working 5.7 Spice Trade 5.8 Silk Trade 6 Weapon Making 6.1 Fletching 6.2 Armour Working 6.3 Poleturning 6.4 Blacksmithing 6.
